- its small, as it should be. No ruining the aesthetic of your pristine aerodynamic road steed with a giant hemorrhoidal saddle bag that makes your bike look like it suffering from a horrific anal prolapse. This is as big as a saddle bag ever needs to be. I like this for several reasons other than small/clean aesthetic:-it holds what is needed: one CO2 w/nozzle, levers, mini-tool, patch kit and some cash. If you need more than that you’re doing it wrong.-waterproof-easy to attach/detach-durable-fastens tight so no wobbleshake. What’s not to like? My one grip here is the zipper opening. It only goes maybe half way around the perimeter but does so in an awkward way so that the case will not open like a clamshell. This might be good to some minds because it will literally keep the contents in even if the case is unzipped. But to me its a little annoying to try and get stuff out sometimes. My other favorite saddle pack is the small one by Lez___. I give that one a leg up because its slightly smaller and easier to get stuff in/out. But the strap/attachment setup on this Arundel is much better and the waterproof/durability is a big win here too. I use the Lez___ on my road bike and the Arundel is on my gravel and touring rigs.
